We may have our favorite magazines, favorite clothes, or favorite food and drink. And we may think that this is purely our own choice. But what if this is because of advertising? Or more succinctly, our response to advertising?

Any message repeated over and over again has an effect. You hear the same message over and over again. And the advertisers spend a great deal of money repeating their message to us. Naturally, they would only do it because it works.

Anyone who has studied Hypnotherapy and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) knows how to develop positive hypnotic suggestions. The trick is in turning ordinary language into positive talk. And when you hear the same positive affirmations over and over again, they begin to have an effect. They may even have a profound effect on your thinking and general attitude to life. You may find yourself using these affirmations in your self-talk without even seeing it.

Since advertising works so well, then positive affirmations do work. It is just a matter of hearing that good message over time. You may start viewing life from a different perspective. You may feel calmer and more at ease with yourself. The world may seem like a better place.

Hypnotherapy is very popular because it helps make fast positive changes. To most seekers of hypnosis, its value seems to lie in the depth of the hypnosis. After all, we have all witnessed hypnotic TV shows where the participants walk around clucking like chickens and flapping their wings. And you may be surprised to find that it is the part that happens during hypnosis that activates the changes, rather than the act of deep relaxation.

We all know someone who is nice to be with. Perhaps this is a friend, colleague, or someone we do business with. This is someone that we can always depend on. He or she is always helpful, ready with a smile, and says nice things to us. Maybe you know a sales assistant who is like this, and you go out of your way to buy from them. Or perhaps you have a friend who is so positive, you always try to make time for them. This is because they have this way about them that makes you feel good.

And we all know people who always complain. In fact, they seem unhappy unless they are telling their latest tale of woe. And a lot of woe befalls them. And they talk about it even more. It can be depressing just listening to someone being so negative, even if they do not mean to. After a long, hard day, this is the last person you would wish to encounter. You may sometimes avoid them or even invent excuses why you cannot see them.

Given the choice, most of us would prefer to hear nice things and see our friends, associates, and loved ones smiling at us. When someone smiles at you, your normal instinct is to smile back. This is human nature.

A smile looks nice and makes you feel good inside. Imagine how good it would be if for a whole day, smiling was advertised on TV...

How will NLP help you in Your Next Sales Presentation

I want to tell you a story that might seem a bit long-winded, but holds one of the secrets to better customer service and higher sales -- without spending a penny.

I'm not talking about minor increases of 10% and 20% for your sales but MASSIVE increases of 50%, 100%, 200% and even 300%. Every industry is different, but time and again people have achieved these massive results, and I'm going to tell you how. But first, I have to set the stage ...

Out of college years ago, I ended up working for a prominent Wall Street firm. My job, as Director of Research, was to come up with all sorts of mathematical models - anything and everything that could be computerized - that could be turned into computerized systems that were automatically traded to make money in stocks, bonds, commodities and currencies. At that time, I was one of a handful of experts in the world in this field, though everyone does it today. The academics said it was nonsense and wouldn't work, but today almost everyone trades according to technical analysis, and I was one of the hidden granddaddies in this field developing proprietary systems that were traded automatically for billion dollar portfolios.

The whole idea behind this computerized portfolio trading was based on BACK-TESTING investment ideas I thought might work. In other words -- TESTING before TRADING. First I would come up with some theoretical idea of an investment method that might work in producing good BUY and SELL signals for precious metals, bonds, stocks, commodities or whatever, back-test that idea on past data to see if it indeed worked historically, and if it performed well in the past, we would then take the risk of trading it in the future. We'd incorporate it into our portfolio trading system that would generate automatic buy and sell signals that we would take in management of our funds.

The point?

We came up with ideas, TESTED them to see if they worked historically, and if they did work we made them an automatic component of our portfolio system. We never ASSUMED anything worked but TESTED all our ideas to see if they indeed produced superior trading returns in the past. It was all about coming up with ideas and then TESTING them. Testing, testing, TESTING. That's the moral of the story -- testing.

If the ideas worked, we started using them and tried to improve them here and there, bit by bit, to get even better investment results. Granted this is a different field than marketing and sales, but I want you to take away the lesson of testing. Superior marketing results are all about testing and adopting large and small improvements here and there in an incremental fashion.

(As an interesting aside, this testing has revealed several super secret investment systems that work going back 50-80 years and perform much better than buy-and-hold strategies over these incredibly long time periods. They've worked going into the future as well, so far. But this is a website about marketing, not investing. Go see Nelson Freeburg's www.FormulaResearch.com if you're interested in such things.)

Now all through those Wall Street years in investment research, I was an avid reader. Two books during that time struck me in particular: Ogilvy on Advertising was one of them, and the other was John T. Molloy's Dress for Success. I recommend them both still today, and here's why.

In Dress for Success, Molloy performed hundreds and hundreds of tests to see what colors and types of clothing styles people responded to BEST for sales situations and situations of trust and rapport. The book is a masterpiece of testing, simply amazing and definitely under appreciated. The field of persuasion and influence owes him a great debt for performing this type of research and publishing it. Are people influenced by certain colors and clothing styles you wear? You bet! Molloy codified these reactions, and the experts in the body language field owe him a debt as well for getting things started in this direction.

Molloy didn't just speculate or shoot from the hit claiming, "People will trust you more if you wear a button down Oxford white shirt," but performed dozens of tests to come up with the EXACT color and style that would produce the results he was interested in, and he analyzed how people responded to clothes people in terms of the sexes and all sorts of other groupings. One big hint: if you want people to trust you, wear blue.

Dress for Success, which became a bestseller, impressed the heck out of me because it, too, stressed the premise of TESTING for results to come up with a conclusion on the particular clothing you should wear to bring a response you want. The idea was testing once again, but the subject matter was CLOTHING. But my lesson to you was this idea of TESTING.

David Ogilvy, the famous advertiser who built the firm Ogilvy and Mather, was also a big fan of TESTING. He worked for George Gallup at his Audience Research Institute where he also learned the value of testing. He was so impressed with this insight that it's stressed throughout his books.

Ogilvy wrote that he especially admired Claude Hopkins, "Father of Modern Advertising," who wrote the famous work you should have in your library, Scientific Advertising This classic also stressed the idea of TESTING all your advertising and marketing ideas rather than simply assuming they will work. The entire DM emphasis and internet emphasis on split testing and Taguchi testing and so forth can be said to date back to the influence of this work.

So here we have the idea of testing once again, though in the field of ADVERTISING <st1:stockticker>AND</st1:stockticker> MARKETING.

Ogilvy wrote "Nobody, at any level, should be allowed to have anything to do with advertising until he has read Hopkins' Scientific Advertising seven times," which is why I updated Claude Hopkins' work with my own book, The Claude Hopkins Rare Ad Collection and Study Guide which you can find at ClaudeHopkinsAdvertising.com.

Ogilvy came to the conclusion, from working with Gallup, studying Hopkins and mastering the methods of direct marketing, that the only way to improve advertising results was not being creative but TESTING an idea, seeing if it increased sales and then incrementally improving it.

Once again, he didn't take the position that anything and everything goes in advertising but that SALES results matter, and you find out what works best by testing. Plain and simple, test to find out how best to sell, how best to market and present your goods and services and satisfy people's wants and needs and desires.

Rather than go into my forays into naturopathic and Chinese medicine, which also seconds this lesson on the importance of TESTING, I want to fast forward this dialogue and come to the topic of sales and advertising Today.

In many cases, I tell clients that for better SALES RESULTS they should methodically test which sentences they use in dealing with clients to find out which ones produce the best results. It's like finding out which type of guarantee produces the most sales, because it taps into what customers want MOST.

For instance, the following Killer sentence has tested best with many retailers in helping increase their sales.

When a potential customer comes into a store, a retailer or salesperson should not ask, "What are you looking for?" Rather, if they want to increase their sales and customer service, they should probably ask the following question (using these EXACT words): "What brings you into the store today?" or "What ad brings you into the store today?"

This sentence has tested best in establishing better rapport with customers, and ultimately increasing sales than any other sentence people have tried. It opens up customers to the opportunity of dialogue and enables salesmen to serve them better. Ultimately that results in higher sales than when people don't use THAT sentence, or some other sentence. Of course you have to test this yourself compared to what you or your staff are already saying, but you'll probably be pleasantly surprised to find that any other sentence doesn't lead to as favorable sales results as this one, or a versionof it that's tailored to your situation..

Try it and see, or simply tell this gem to your retail store buddies to help them out and wait to see if they buy you dinner as THANKS!

Finding this type of sentence that increases your sales results, and then teaching your staff to use it is called SALES SCRIPTING. Learning what to say and in the manner that is most agreeable to customers and conducive to sales is SALES SCRIPTING. When you go to McDonalds, order a hamburger and they ask "Large coke with that?" -- I guarantee whatever sentence they use has been tested to see which one increases up-sells the most. They've probably tested all sorts of possibilities such as "Would you like a soft drink with that?", "Large or small soda?", "Soda?", "Large Coke or small" and so on.

Finding those sentences for repetitive situations, and then teaching them to your staff to use is the process of sales scripting.

Elmer Wheeler, who wrote Tested Sentences that Sell in 1938, performed 10 years of such research testing 105,000 words and phrases on 19 million people, and wrote that there are no magic words but there is word magic. He urged that salesmen build a sales talk through testing, and stressed that how you say things can definitely have a profound result on your sales.

That's the key to sales scripting. If you just record the sales talks of your superstar salesmen, combine them together and add in NLP phraseology, and then turn those sales dialogues into scripts for your underachievers, you can revolutionize your sales results almost overnight. Start with the best of what's working in each piece of the sales process, put them all together, see if you can improve things and there you have your sales script.

Can changing the words you use have this power? Absolutely. You can pick up Ted Nicholas' Magic Words That Bring You Riches to see for yourself. If you're cold calling, check out the words recommended by Ari Galper.

One of the phrasing rules Wheeler came up with is that you should always phrase your words in such a way that you give customers a choice between something and something else. For instance, in helping restaurants he found that the phrase "Would you like red wine or white wine with your dinner?" doubled wine sales versus "Would you like wine with your meal, sir?" I've written a book for restaurant waiters and waitresses to help them increase their tips, and this is just one of the many secrets inside that you can dig out from the field of NLP and sales scripting. You can grab a copy of that book, for free, from Twice Your Tips.

Without doubt, the absolute master of the sales scripting process today is Dr. Donald Moines, who has studied thousands of salespeople and who specializes in writing sales scripts for financial services.

You can find his book Unlimited Selling Power at Amazon.com to get introduced to the field. Or you can give him a very hefty consulting fee and he might produce dynamite results for your business. Pick up Unlimited Selling Power by Donald Moines and Kenneth Lloyd if you want to find out more.

SALES SCRIPTING is actually commonsense selling where you know what words you should or should not use in selling to people or just approaching them in a sales situation. There's nothing devious, manipulative or hypnotic about it. It's basically diplomatic word usage....using the words that have a better effect (on average) than just a random conversation.

For instance, the following is also considered Sales Scripting or sales NLP word usage. If in your sales conversations (and marketing pieces) you replace the following words on the left with these on the right, you'll often find your selling situations running much smoother:

Cost or Price - Total Investment
Down Payment - Initial Investment
Contract - Agreement
Buy - Own
Sell or Sold - Enjoy Owning
Sign - Approve or Endorse
Pitch - Presentation or Demonstration
Deal - Package
Problem - Challenge
Objections - Areas of Concern
Cheaper - More Economical
Prospect - Future Client
Appointment - Visit

How to choose your words, or which words to use, is such important information for building better rapport with customers, and smoothing away their pre-purchase jitters, that I helped put together several books on this topic which you can find at www.TheWordsThatSell.com . Politicians make use of this sort of information all the time, just as they make use of polls and other research to see what people want and need. The specific reports I'm speaking of make use of psychological profiles, NLP, occupational studies, and tested sentences of what to say or not say when dealing with people of certain occupational groups. In other words, the right persuasion words to use when dealing with people in certain occupations.

There are specific reports on selling to, persuading, negotiating with, motivating, dealing with entrepreneurs, lawyers, doctors, engineers, <st1:stockticker>CEO</st1:stockticker>'s, personnel directors, ... you name it....38 in all. It's powerful stuff, but not what I want to tell you about.

The topic, however, finally brings up the concept of NLP, or neuro-linguistic programming, which is what I've been leading up to. This whole article is about the words you should use - and how to find them -- to better bond with customers, increase rapport, find out what they REALLY want and thereby ultimately serve them better and increase your sales in the process.

If you sell a product or service for a living, you already know that it's hard to sell anything to anyone without first establishing rapport. Without first establishing rapport, people won't necessarily like you or trust you, and if they don't believe you or like you, they won't listen to what you have to say. Forget about sales in such a situation.

So how do you establish rapport?

The answer is through NLP, which teaches you how to bond with prospects in the quickest way possible so you can find out what they ULTIMATELY want. Kevin Hogan taught me the following tested NLP formula, or sales script, for quickly determining what clients or prospects want.

Sales is about ASKING questions, and you can QUICKLY find out what your customer is really after if you lead them through the following 4 questions:

1. First ask them, "What is most important to you about __ (ex. buying a car)?"
2. When they give you an answer, you should follow it up with this sentence, "How do you know when you have __ {whatever they just mentioned} (such as good gas mileage)?"
3. Lastly, after you've gotten this market intelligence, which is creating a "mind map" of the customer, you can then ask them, "If I could give you your highest value {whatever they just mentioned}, would you consider buying it from me, working with me, etc.?"
4. After you've gone through this process and found out what's important about the product or service they want to buy, and how they know when they get that value or characteristic, you can ask them, "In addition to that, is there anything else of importance to you in buying/owning __?" to elicit any other characteristics, benefits or features that are important to them.

This formula is GOLDEN. Memorize it, practice it, use it. It's basic NLP.

Another basic principle of NLP is that some people can be described as auditory thinkers, visual thinkers or kinesthetic thinkers. NLP teaches you how to quickly determine which type of representational system predominates in a person, after which you can start using words keyed to that representational system to better bond with a prospect.

For instance, with visual thinkers you can use words in your sales dialogue such as "see," "illustrate," "picture," "imagine," "show" or "colorful." When you are talking to auditory processors, you should pepper your sales script with phrases such as "listen," "talk it over," "hear," "resonate," "call," or "tune it." Kinesthetic thinkers can be approached with words such as "feel," "touch upon," "get a hold of," "heavy," "light," or "walk through." This is a whole art in itself, and complicated for people unless they practice this form of bonding.

Some people have NLP skills as a natural talent, and others have to learn it, but how do you learn NLP? By study and practice, study and practice. Even if you just start by memorizing sales closing lines, that's a form of mastering sales dialogue, i.e. sales scripting. If you learn the persuasion materials of Kevin Hogan at www.KevinHogan.com, and the cold caling scripting of Ari Galper, that's a step in the right direction as well.

So let's review...

One of the keys to increasing your sales is to find out what sentences <st1:stockticker>WORK</st1:stockticker> BEST by TESTING them and then implementing what you find. Copywriters do that in writing headlines, advertisement calls to action and sales letters and you should do that for what you <st1:stockticker>SAY</st1:stockticker> in sales situations as well. Sales scripting is basically copywriting testing for the spoken word. You create a new sales dialogue, test its "conversion rate," and if it's better than before you adopt it into your routine.

The biggest thing you can test, other than written advertising, is the exact words you use when talking directly to a customer. This field is called NLP or sales scripting, and to learn some of the best NLP ideas for bonding with customers and ultimately selling more, I'm directing you to Kevin Hogan who has done more to simplify this field than anyone else I know.

Lastly, pick up Donald Moines' book on amazon.com to help me feel I've done all I can to teach you about Sales scripting.

How NLP Can help you in Copywriting!

I get asked all the time, “Lorrie, how can I make my copy more persuasive?” Well frankly it helps if you can speak your prospect’s language. But writing persuasively is more involved than just saying the right words. You need to say them in the right order…and in a way that lowers resistance to new information and is acceptable to his or her mind. One discipline that translates nicely to writing persuasive copy is NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programming.

NLP isn’t a replacement for good copywriting. It’s a turbo boost. Meeting a person on his or her own level by using familiar words puts YOU in control of the communication almost immediately.

Have you ever been moved to buy a pair of sexy shoes instead of the sensible, comfy shoes you really needed? But when you got home you didn’t know how you got over the resistance of spending the money? See, people understand the RESULT of making a purchasing decision, but are often unaware of the internal recipe that gets them there. We all know we tend to buy based on emotion over logic. In fact, most buying decisions are largely emotional.

WHO’S RIGHT ANYWAY?

We can all agree there are two sides to the brain, correct? The left (logical) and the right (emotional). Interesting fact: information is first perceived by the emotional right brain. Then within a fraction of a second, it shoots over to the logical left. Then finally, once again, is reflected to the emotional right. In other words, every message we get is influenced by the emotional right brain. Pretty fascinating, huh?

Here is the basic principle of NLP as I understand it. There is no mental resistance to an idea you perceive as your own. And whenever any of us engages our imagination, we think we came up with the idea ourselves. So it must be great!!! It aligns with our own beliefs so it’s unconsciously accepted as being the truth and you act as if it’s true. So NLP always prefers to presuppose that changes can be made quickly and automatically. So let’s cover some NLP principles and how to use it in the art of persuasive writing.

PACING

Pacing is putting yourself in the prospect’s shoes through languaging. Look at David Ogilvy (one of the greatest advertising masters who ever lived) as an example. His first headline for Rolls Royce didn’t come from HIS mind, but that of an engineer at the factory. Ogilvy was told, “You know David, the loudest noise from this Rolls Royce comes from the clock on the dashboard at 60 miles an hour.” And David thought this man, this engineer must know something because he’s constantly in the flow about changes and revisions and everything happening at the Rolls Royce factory. So David did his research and made a connection. I’m not suggesting the engineer was deliberately using NLP on David, but it’s an illustration of how we as humans connect the dots and are able to write persuasively as a result.

Though similar to empathy, pacing is a bit more complex. In pacing, you actually encourage the prospect to use visualization or other accessing cues in a very subtle and vague way. These are the same communication skills of matching, mirroring and rapport that allow you to pace and lead someone to the sale.

NLP Master Ross Jeffries says, “People will not accept that you are an authority on where they should go unless they accept you’re an authority on where they are at.”

In other words, if you’re reading a letter or listening to a podcast, it makes sense for me as a writer to mirror that experience for you. Then you subtly relax:

“As you’re sitting there reading this letter…”

“As you are sitting in front of your computer…”

“While you are listening to this broadcast…”

Any of those phrases have you and the prospect share an experience, which moves him or her toward the sale. Have you ever met someone and felt an instant kinship with that person? Or on the other hand, met someone who you just could never quite get on the same wave length?

What if you knew how to get on that person’s “wave-length”? You would have a totally different outcome – the outcome you wanted! That’s the importance of defining your target audience (or my own term, <st1:stockticker>TAR</st1:stockticker>-KET). You can communicate with that one person because you have already defined him or her.

PRESUPPOSITION OF AWARENESS

This technique also ties to speaking directly to your own target market. (If people don’t have their target market nailed down, it doesn’t matter how good their copy is. It doesn’t matter if you’re trying to sell beef to a vegetarian. It’s just not going to work. So you really have to zone in on your target market.)

The way you do that is to understand your product. Figure out where they shop, where they eat, what they look like. Are they a family or are they single? Do they have dogs or not? Do they live in a rural area or the city? These keys make a huge difference when you are trying to figure out who your target market is. When I write my copy, I write to one person. I visualize everything about them so it’s very real to me when I start to write. I would suggest that you funnel down your target market to your TARKET as much as possible. That’s how you’re able to give them the illusion. You’ve given them information and the mind fills in the blanks. The more specific the better is what I’m saying.

In this technique you direct the conscious mind of the reader by assuming something is true. So you speak to him or her as if something has already happened. Here are some examples:

“As you become aware of…”

“As you recognize …”

“I’m not sure just how excited you can get about this offer but…”

The proper use of language patterns in written words means you communicate by tonal shifts, tempo shifts etc, following the patterns of a question, a statement, or a command. We invite people to share our certainty about our product or service by using an intonation of a command or a statement like “Do you agree?”

PRESUPPOSITION OF TIME

This concept piggybacks onto the previous one. You build on the prospect’s experience of awareness by adding in the element of time. Examples:

“Before you order today…”

“After you make your decision to order…”

“While you are filling out your order form…”

Use language patterns to move yourself and others in a direction that results in a win-win situation. The truth is that we are selling ourselves every day, all day long. Doesn’t it make a lot of sense to use communication skills like NLP to lead someone where you want them to go? And the more that happens, the more successful you will be with your copy.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

International copywriting trainer, author and speaker, Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero has been a freelance writer and journalist for over 25 years. We may like to think that we aren’t really paying attention to these messages, but we are all influenced by the suggestions fed to us in advertising to some degree. In many ways hypnosis is suggestion and suggestion is hypnosis. Advertisers know this and certainly use it to their advantage.

Some suggestions of course we notice because we look at them directly, but lots of them we don’t notice. For instance, do you remember what was on the last advertising billboard that you passed? You might say no or not remember exactly, but on some level you have taken that information in and processed it. All the suggestions that surround us are meant to get us to buy into an idea, a person, or a company’s product. They work into our minds at an unconscious level, much like suggestions in hypnosis.

The mind tends to work by association, and suggestion also happens to work by association. So to help you associate with the advertisement, the message might be something like “If you buy this, you’ll look as young and look as good as me” or “You’ll be happy and smile like me if you buy this product.” These are positive suggestions, but negative suggestions are at work in advertising as well.

For example, insurance advertising plays highly on the fear element. “If you don’t buy this insurance you might get a victim of theft” or “You could find yourself without money in hard times, and end up homeless.” There are different ways to motivate people through suggestion, some of which play on our emotions quite directly.

Often when I watch TV, it takes me on such an emotional journey. It takes over my reality. My reality becomes whatever I am looking at on the TV. When I am watching a soap opera in my mind I am in there with the people. I am concentrating on the screen and, for a lack of a better description - I am in a hypnotic state. You’re concentrating and excluding outside stimulus, which is quite similar to what occurs in hypnosis.

That’s why TV is a fantastic medium for suggestion and for sales, because people are almost in a state of hypnosis. In fact, eye fixation is a classic way of inducing hypnosis. Even though the use of subliminal suggestions in advertising is somewhat illegal and frowned upon, the suggestions are there and are given in such subtle ways sometimes you might not even notice. They use sound, colour, and association to elicit emotional responses to the material being presented. Your unconscious mind picks up these messages and files them away.

Remember, hypnosis is merely the unconscious acceptance of suggestion.

The Secret Page

Watch the first 20 mins of the secret

How did it all came about:

RHONDA BYRNE
The Secret started by Rhonda Byrne and as a result, time Magazine has rated Rhonda to be the top 100 most influential person

This just goes to show how much of an impact her movie The Secret has become to the world.

The brief in Time about Rhonda was written by Jack Canfield, who we all know is co-author of The Chicken Soup For The Soul Series and is of course in The Secret.

See below for what he wrote. The excerpt is from Time.Com:
Rhonda Byrne By Jack Canfield:

I first met Rhonda Byrne in July 2005, when she asked if she could bring her film crew to a meeting of the Transformational Leadership Council and interview our members for a movie she was creating called The Secret. For four days she and her crew filmed during the day and socialized with us at night. I was struck by her energy. She seemed to be in a constant state of bliss, of childlike wonder.

As I got to know her, Byrne, 50, seemed to always be in that state. Even when she ran out of film, when the money to complete the next phase of the project hadn't yet materialized or when her original TV distribution deal fell through, to her it was always "perfect." She radiated a confidence and a trust that it was all being handled perfectly by the universe. Obstacles that would defeat most people didn't seem to daunt her. She just kept moving forward in joyous faith that it would all work out. What I didn't realize at the time was that the way she was living her life and approaching her work was teaching me even more about how to live in harmony with her Law of Attraction than her movie or book.

I am often asked why The Secret has been such a phenomenon—more than 2 million DVDs sold in a year and almost 4 million books in less than six months. It is primarily because Byrne's love and joy permeate every frame and every page. Her intention was pure and simple—to uplift as much of humanity as she could reach, and so far she has reached millions. And I believe she has only just begun.

Larry King Interview Oprah Winfrey on The Secret

Reviews on Oprah Winfrey Show

"I watched it today! Amazing piece of work! In fact I think I'll watch it again before bed... hopefully this time with drier eyes."

"Thank you, thank you, thank you... The Secret is changing my life already... I'm starting to live the life I dreamt of with little effort at all!"

"It is a stunning production! Man! I am TOTALLY blown away!"

"The movie was great... I was in tears. It is a true blessing and a great vision of its creators."

"I could both see and feel sincerity and passion throughout the movie!"

"Astounding. Absolutely astounding. Beyond anything I anticipated."

"WOW - there are no words to accurately describe the shift I just felt! My daughter asked me why I was crying and I told her that sometimes when I am so happy and full of love, it spills out my eyes! I am so glad I ordered the DVD because there are so many I would love to share this with."

"The message comes through loud and clear. 90 minutes very well spent - life changing and planet changing."

The SECRET Teachers

Bob Proctor
Bob Proctor is an author, lecturer, counselor, business consultant, entrepreneur, and teacher preaching the gospel of positive thinking, self-motivation and maximizing human potential. In that endeavor, he follows in the footsteps of such motivational giants as Napoleon Hill, Earl Nightingale and Wallace D. Wattles. His extraordinary teaching ability has won Proctor acclaim around the globe and has carried the Canadian-born motivator to the far reaches of the earth. He is as well known in Australia and Malaysia as he is in Alberta and Mississippi. Born in a little town in northern Ontario, Canada with the low self-esteem that often befalls a family's middle child, he performed poorly in school, dropped out and did a hitch in the navy.

Afterward he drifted from one dead-end job to another until a friend introduced Bob to the concept of self-development through Napoleon Hill's classic Think and Grow Rich. With the spark generated by Hill's words, Proctor found the initiative to start an office cleaning business which he grew to international scope in his first year of operation. From that experience - after seeing what he had been able to accomplish with just a rudimentary knowledge of personal motivation and goal-setting - he hungered for more information.

His quest took him to the Nightingale-Conant organization to study under his mentor, Earl Nightingale. Once on board, he rose swiftly through the ranks. Eventually, while the Nightingale-Conant organization assumed the forefront in wide-scale distribution of personal development programs, Bob felt the need to take his ideas and methods directly to the individual, to the one-on-one level which had proven so successful for him.
In the mid 1970's, Proctor established his own seminar company and secured a contract to work with a few hundred agents of Prudential Life Insurance Co. of America in Chicago. During his first seminar Bob made the suggestion that any agent present could write $5 million in business that year if the agent made a decision to do so.

The fact that the seminar took place in July with the year half over and that no agent in that region had ever written so much business in the 100-year history of the company made Bob's suggestion appear to be outrageous.

However, when the performance level of the entire division increased substantially with more than one agent actually accomplishing the deed, Bob's reputation as a motivator was established. Over the ensuing years, Proctor has shared his special message and expertise with hundreds of business entities worldwide and, through a program of live seminars, with thousands of people of all ages in all walks of life. Bob Proctor with Jack Canfield and Rev. Michael Beckwith have created The SGR Program. A program designed to teach you how to effectively put the Law of Attraction to work in your life. He is best known as the founder and co-creator of The New York Times No. 1 best-selling "Chicken Soup for the Soul" book series, which currently has over 65 titles and 80 million copies in print in over 37 languages. According to USA Today, Canfield and his writing partner, Mark Victor Hansen, were the top-selling authors in the United States in 1997.

With a BA from Harvard University, a Masters from University of Massachusetts, and an honorary doctorate from the University of Santa Monica, Canfield has been a high school and university teacher, a workshop facilitator, a psychotherapist, and for the past 30 years, a leading authority in the area of self-esteem and personal development.

Canfield is the founder of "Self Esteem Seminars" in Santa Barbara, and "The Foundation for Self Esteem" in Culver City, California. Self Esteem Seminars trains entrepreneurs, educators, corporate leaders and employees on how to accelerate the achievement of their personal and professional goals, while The Foundation for Self Esteem provides self-esteem resources and trainings to social workers, welfare recipients and human resource professionals. Canfield is also the President of Souperspeakers.com, a speaking resource service that provides inspirational speakers for event planners worldwide.

Canfield has traveled to over 21 countries, delivering hundreds of keynote speeches, workshops and trainings each year. As part of his presentation style, he always uses inspirational, motivational and uplifting stories to help his audiences discover, experience and retain key concepts and approaches. After each session, audiences everywhere had encouraged him to put his stories into a single book.

In 1990, while on an airplane home, he felt that it was time. He shared his idea with author Mark Victor Hansen during breakfast one day. Hansen liked the idea, and so began the Chicken Soup for the Soul phenomenon. But with their busy schedules, translating what worked on the podium onto the written page proved more challenging than either of them had anticipated. After three long years, the two had compiled just sixty-eight stories — a far cry from the 101 they believed was the magic number for a successful book. Nonetheless, their successful partnership has spawned many other titles that have made them enormously famous.

Canfield has appeared on numerous television shows, including Good Morning America, 20/20, Eye to Eye, CNN’s Talk Back Live, PBS and the BBC. Today, he speaks shares his success strategies with companies and associations worldwide.

The most recent book Canfield has written was the 2005 publication of The Success Principles. In it Canfield shares 64 principles that he and other people have utilized to achieve great levels of success.

Jack Canfield with Bob Proctor and Rev. Here is an interesting post that I came across on dating and relationship by Brian Lee. Great tips about how you should think and act when it comes to dating . Enjoy the article:

Brian writes:
The Harder you Try… It seems counterintuitive to think that trying hard might actually hurt your chances of getting something that you want, but let’s examine it on the subconscious level. Just like trying to find an answer to a problem, trying really hard in dating reinforces the fact to your subconscious that you don’t have what you want. As your subconscious keeps getting messages that you don’t have what you want, the Law of Attraction brings you more of what your subconscious is thinking and feeling.

The same principle applies to excessive feelings of want. The more you want something, the more desperate you are to get it. Desperation, by Law of Attraction, breeds more desperation and less of what you want.

Sometimes it is just that we want something so much in our lives that we would just about do anything to get it. Then we find and discover something amazing like The Law of Attraction to get it is what we want. But because we want it so bad that it starts not to work we get frustrated and therefore attract more frustration. The point is....in order to receive what it is you want, you put it out there to the universe, but in order to receive it you must have clarity. Clarity comes when you are relaxed and confident, knowing that what you want is here, now.

Read below for the full article:

Why do some guys seem to have all the luck with women? Why do some women go for jerks? Is it possible to make ourselves more attractive?

Sexual attraction is a complex phenomenon that we may never fully understand. It can be so counterintuitive that sometimes success seems out of our control and so illogical that some people just give up.

What makes us attractive? The first thing that comes to mind is physical attractiveness: being in good shape, being well groomed, having attractive features, or dressing well. Some scientists think that attractiveness is related to the symmetry of our facial features. Others have complex theories about the spacing of features.

Science aside, most people agree to some extent on what makes someone physically attractive. While different people have different preferences, physical attractiveness is something that is very intuitive.

My biopsychology professor in college claimed that attractiveness could be explained biologically by a person’s interest in preserving their DNA. He taught that women were attracted to men with resources (so that they could protect them and their offspring) and that men were attracted to women with the characteristics of fertility (who would be more likely to bear multiple children.)

While this theory seems to have worked well in our society, it certainly isn’t the only factor affecting attractiveness. There are plenty of physically attractive, rich men who don’t have any luck with women, and plenty of men without money (or looks) who do just fine.

No matter how good-looking or biologically attractive you are, there must be some sort of chemistry between you and someone else before there is attraction. Every one knows what it is, but chemistry is a very difficult thing to quantify. Some people are better at creating it than others, but why?

The type of attractiveness that transcends physical or biological attractiveness is what I call spiritual attractiveness. Spiritual attractiveness is a kind of gravity that creates the chemistry that draws people together. While physical and biological attractiveness are hard to change, you can actually do something about spiritual attractiveness.

Clues
Over years of observing the opposite sex, I’ve picked up on a few interesting tendencies in dating that hold true on average. Maybe they can help us figure out how spiritual attraction works.

Clue #1: Ignorance is BlissWhen I was in high school, I downplayed the fact that I was in advanced classes because smart kids were “nerds.” I wanted to be more like the “cool” kids. It seems as if intelligence can have an adverse affect on spiritual attractiveness.

This is how I imagine the spiritual attractiveness curve would look like if someone was able to plot it against intelligence on a graph. While there are different types of intelligence, for the sake of this discussion I am referring to people who are “book smart” (meaning they do well in school).

At the very lowest levels of intelligence, attractiveness is also low for obvious reasons. A person needs a basic level of cognitive ability before the opposite sex will consider him. The first peak of attractiveness on my chart is at a relatively low level of intelligence. At this level, a person is smart enough to function in society, but not so smart that he questions himself.

I imagine that spiritual attractiveness starts to diminish as intelligence increases past this first level. The more intelligent a person is, the more he overanalyzes himself to the point of killing his confidence. When confidence is gone and intelligence is relatively high, the attractiveness curve dips to its lowest point at full “nerdiness.”

If you are reading this article, my guess is that you are an intelligent person and at this point, you’re either offended or depressed. If this is the case, don’t click away just yet. In my model, the most attractive people of all are also the most intelligent. This is because I believe that a person has the ability to figure out where he went wrong and increase his spiritual attractiveness.

Clue #2: The Harder You Try, the Less Attractive You AreThis is probably the most frustrating aspect of dating. When I first started trying to meet girls, it seemed like I could never win the heart of the one I went after. There was a direct correlation between how hard I tried and how miserably I failed.

How many times have you heard the same old story of a girl who keeps going back to her jerk of an ex-boyfriend? It’s as if no matter how hard you try, she always goes back to the guy who doesn’t care about her.

At the risk of sounding like my entire philosophy is based on the movie “Swingers,” it illustrates this point perfectly. Mike, played by John Favreau, is obsessed with his ex-girlfriend through most of the movie. He constantly checks his messages to see if she called.

His friends finally coax him to try to loosen up and see what else is out there. To their dismay, he messes up several opportunities because he can’t let her go. At the climax of the movie, he learns to relax enough to have a really great time with another girl. He regains his confidence and wouldn’t you know it, the minute he forgets about his ex, she calls.

Clue #3: Feast or FamineMy friends and I used to joke that in dating, it was “feast or famine,” meaning that opportunities seemed to come all at once or not at all. During long droughts without the possibility of a date, I thought that I would never find anyone. Then, out of nowhere there would be two or three girls interested. Why did this happen?

For some reason, people in relationships seem to be more attractive. When you get into a relationship and stop dating, all of a sudden everyone wants to date you. When I worked as a bartender, some of the cocktail waitresses I worked with wore fake wedding rings hoping to fend off predatory men, but instead, it only increased unwanted approaches.

The Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction was introduced to the world by “The Secret,” a movie about attracting what you want into your life. I would recommend this movie to anyone who wants to get a better understanding of why life tends to unfold the way it does. The Law states that your thoughts and feelings manifest into your reality. Could this help to explain the mystery of dating?

At first glance, it doesn’t seem to help. If the law is true, then why does trying too hard reduce attractiveness? In this way of thinking, it would seem logical to assume that if a person has strong thoughts and feelings for someone else, then they would attract the other person into their life by trying; but just the opposite seems to happen.

And what about intelligence? Aren’t smart people better at thinking? Shouldn’t they therefore be better at attracting things into their lives via thoughts?

The Law of Subtlety
One piece of wisdom that has helped me immensely in my life is the idea that the difference between success and failure in life is often subtle. If it were more clear, then many more people would choose success.

In light of this, I like to ask myself what piece of information the majority of people are missing. What wisdom is in front of my eyes, but does not seem obvious?

The Subconscious
Often, the answer to this question is given to me by my subconscious. I find that if I have been working on a problem for hours without an answer, the best thing to do is to put the problem down and do something completely different. I change my environment, relax, and forget about it, then… poof… the answer magically appears.

Sometimes the best way to attract an elusive answer is to declare that you seek it, and then completely forget about it by retreating to a state of relaxation, comfort, and security. I think that the Law of Attraction can provide some insight into this kind of problem solving. Let’s take a closer look:

What is the difference in your subconscious mental state between desperately trying to solve the problem and relaxing? As you are wrestling with the problem, subconsciously you are feeling desperate. The harder you reach for the answer, the more you are confirming to yourself that you do not have the answer. Even if you are showing confidence on the outside, your subconscious keeps recreating the reality of being without the answer.

In a relaxed state, the pressure is taken off of your subconscious. By feeling good, you are projecting confidence that the answer will come. The subconscious is free to get creative and deliver your answer.

This line of reasoning might also help to explain some of our dating clues.
Subconscious Dating Ignorance is bliss… Why does intelligence seem to hinder attractiveness up to a certain level? At first it would seem logical to assume that since smarter people are better thinkers, the Law of Attraction must make them more spiritually attractive, but I think that the truth is a more subtle.

As intelligence increases, the ability to question also increases. People with above average intelligence tend to question themselves more which erodes their confidence at the subconscious level.

The Law of Attraction works when the mind’s thoughts and feelings are focused on one outcome. If you are constantly questioning yourself, you are confusing your subconscious with mixed signals.

Can you see how ignorance might really be bliss? A blissfully ignorant person doesn’t question themselves all the time and has the advantage of remaining focused on their goal.

The most attractive people of all have learned not to question themselves. They have great confidence in their intelligence and spiritual attractiveness.

The paradox, of course, is that it’s easier to get something that you don’t want than something you want badly. This concept is well known by master negotiators. The side that can walk away from the deal because they have options has the power.

This may sound unromantic or inhuman. You’re probably thinking “it’s no fun to not want anything!” In response, I don’t think that the Law of Attraction is telling us not to want anything, but instead to control our feelings of excessive want. Desire is natural and human, but desperation is a sign of unbalance.

Feast or Famine… The subtleties of the Law of Attraction can help to explain this phenomenon. If you are in a “dry spell” because you haven’t had a date in awhile, you are subconsciously confirming feelings of loneliness. As your subconscious feels alone, the Law of Attraction brings you more of it.

As soon as you get a date, your subconscious feels great! Your confidence comes back and the Law of Attraction makes you more attractive.

How to Become More Attractive
The real lesson of all of this is to develop yourself from the inside until you love yourself enough that your confidence and self-assurance shines through from your subconscious so that all the world can see.

The most attractive people of all are extremely secure and at ease with themselves. Once you are so comfortable with yourself that you don’t need anyone else to make you happy, the Law of Attraction will bring you what you have wanted all along.

I am not talking about arrogance, conceit, or egotism because all of these paradigms come from insecurity. Insecure people tend to hide behind facades of pretend confidence.

The fake confidence approach might work in the short run, but since it is built on a lie, it eventually collapses. People with fake confidence tend to attract insecure partners. This, of course, is the recipe for a bad relationship filled with jealousy and mistrust.

Secure people tend to attract partners who are also secure. A relationship between two people who trust not only themselves, but each other, is a thing of beauty! Ironically, the happiest relationships in the world are between two people who are happy with themselves.

Since the two people don’t depend on each other, they can focus on giving instead of getting. Since they don’t need each other to make them happy, they can focus on making each other even happier. Since they trust that they would be okay without the other, they are free to trust the relationship.

Developing true security and self-love takes a lot of work. You have to spend a lot of time getting to know yourself before you can start to build this level of self-trust. The path is difficult, but the rewards are invaluable. Not only will you be more attractive, but your power will expand until the world is at your ingertips.

Original Article: http://geniustypes.com/dating_and_the_law_of_attraction/
To learn more about the Law of Attraction and The Secret , check out http://thesecretbehind.blogspot.com/

Visualization by Jack Canfield

Visualization
I came across this marvelous article by Jack Canfield on how to use Visualization to get the outcomes that you desire. Jack Canfield is the founder and co-creator of the billion-dollar book call “Chicken Soup for the Soul” and one of the key Teachers from the inspiring movie The Secret which explain about the concept of the Law of Attraction.

Here’s what Jack Canfield has written:

Visualize and Affirm Your Desired Outcomes:
A Step-by-Step Guide
By Jack Canfield,

You have within you an awesome power that most of us have never been taught to use. Elite athletes use it. The super rich use it. And peak performers in all fields are now starting to use it. That power is called visualization. The daily practice of visualizing your dreams as already complete can rapidly accelerate your achievement of those dreams. Visualization of your goals and desires accomplishes four very important things.

1. It activates your creative subconscious which will start generating creative ideas to achieve your goal.

2. It programs your brain to more readily perceive and recognize the resources you will need to achieve your dreams.

3. It activates the law of attraction, thereby drawing into your life the people, resources, and circumstances you will need to achieve your goals.

4. It builds your internal motivation to take the necessary actions to achieve your dreams.

Visualization is really quite simple. You sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and imagine — in as vivid detail as you can — what you would be looking at if the dream you have were already realized. Imagine being inside of yourself, looking out through your eyes at the ideal result.

Mental Rehearsal
Athletes call this visualization process "mental rehearsal," and they have been using it since the 1960s when we learned about it from the Russians. All you have to do is set aside a few minutes a day. The best times are when you first wake up, after meditation or prayer, and right before you go to bed. These are the times you are most relaxed. Go through the following three steps:

1. Imagine sitting in a movie theater, the lights dim, and then the movie starts. It is a movie of you doing perfectly whatever it is that you want to do better. See as much detail as you can create, including your clothing, the expression on your face, small body movements, the environment and any other people that might be around. Add in any sounds you would be hearing — traffic, music, other people talking, cheering. And finally, recreate in your body any feelings you think you would be experiencing as you engage in this activity.

2. Get out of your chair, walk up to the screen, open a door in the screen and enter into the movie. Now experience the whole thing again from inside of yourself, looking out through your eyes. This is called an "embodied image" rather than a "distant image." It will deepen the impact of the experience. Again, see everything in vivid detail, hear the sounds you would hear, and feel the feelings you would feel.

3. Finally, walk back out of the screen that is still showing the picture of you performing perfectly, return to your seat in the theater, reach out and grab the screen and shrink it down to the size of a cracker. Then, bring this miniature screen up to your mouth, chew it up and swallow it. Imagine that each tiny piece — just like a hologram — contains the full picture of you performing well. Imagine all these little screens traveling down into your stomach and out through the bloodstream into every cell of your body. Then imagine that every cell of your body is lit up with a movie of you performing perfectly. It's like one of those appliance store windows where 50 televisions are all tuned to the same channel.

When you have finished this process — it should take less than five minutes — you can open your eyes and go about your business. If you make this part of your daily routine, you will be amazed at how much improvement you will see in your life.

Create Goal Pictures
Another powerful technique is to create a photograph or picture of yourself with your goal, as if it were already completed. If one of your goals is to own a new car, take your camera down to your local auto dealer and have a picture taken of yourself sitting behind the wheel of your dream car. If your goal is to visit Paris, find a picture or poster of the Eiffel Tower and cut out a picture of yourself and place it into the picture. With today's technology, you could probably make an even more convincing image using your computer.

Create a Visual Picture and an Affirmation for Each Goal
We recommend that you find or create a picture of every aspect of your dream life. Create a picture or a visual representation for every goal you have — financial, career, recreation, new skills and abilities, things you want to purchase, and so on. When we were writing the very first Chicken Soup for the Soul® book, we took a copy of the New York Times best seller list, scanned it into our computer, and using the same font as the newspaper, typed Chicken Soup for the Soul into the number one position in the "Paperback Advice, How-To and Miscellaneous" category. We printed several copies and hung them up around the office. Less than two years later, our book was the number one book in that category and stayed there for over a year!

Index Cards
We practice a similar discipline every day. We each have a list of about 30-40 goals we are currently working on. We write each goal on a 3x5 index card and keep those cards near our bed and take them with us when we travel. Each morning and each night we go through the stack of cards, one at a time, read the card, close our eyes, see the completion of that goal in its perfect desired state for about 15 seconds, open our eyes and repeat the process with the next card.

Use Affirmations to Support Your Visualization
An affirmation is a statement that evokes not only a picture, but the experience of already having what you want. Here's an example of an affirmation:
I am happily vacationing 2 months out of the year in a tropical paradise, and working just four days a week owning my own business.

Repeating an affirmation several times a day keeps you focused on your goal, strengthens your motivation, and programs your subconscious by sending an order to your crew to do whatever it takes to make that goal happen.

Expect Results
Through writing down your goals, using the power of visualization and repeating your affirmations, you can achieve amazing results. Visualization and affirmations allow you to change your beliefs, assumptions, and opinions about the most important person in your life — YOU! They allow you to harness the 18 billion brain cells in your brain and get them all working in a singular and purposeful direction.

Your subconscious will become engaged in a process that transforms you forever. The process is invisible and doesn't take a long time. It just happens over time, as long as you put in the time to visualize and affirm, surround yourself with positive people, read uplifting books and listen to audio programs that flood your mind with positive, life-affirming messages.

Repeat your affirmations every morning and night for a month and they will become an automatic part of your thinking — they will become woven into the very fabric of your being.

© 2006 Jack Canfield

Visit http://www.jackcanfield.com/ for more success tips from Jack Canfield.
Jack Canfield is one of the Secret Teachers behind the SGR Program. If you're ready to create a change in your life and make more money, click here to learn more the SGR program.

The Teacher from The Secret - Michael Beckwith

Michael Bernard Beckwith is a world leader and teacher in the New Thought–Ancient Wisdom tradition of spirituality. He is the founder of the Agape International Spiritual Center, cofounder of the Association for Global New Thought, and the Season for Nonviolence, which are extensions of his vision of one human family united on a foundation of peace, based on the spiritual origin of every man, woman, and child.

In 1986 Dr. Beckwith founded the Agape International Spiritual Center, a trans-denominational community which today counts a membership of 9,000 devoted to the study and practice of New Thought–Ancient Wisdom. Agape's outreach programs feed the homeless, serve incarcerated individuals and their families, advocate the preservation of the planet's environmental resources, and globally build and support orphanages whose children have survived the ravages of war and AIDS.

Dr. Beckwith's renown as a harbinger of the world's quest for peace has drawn into his visionary orbit those whose names are synonymous with this goal. Arun Gandhi, grandson of Mohandas K. Gandhi, shares with Dr. Beckwith the national co-directorship of A Season for Nonviolence (SNV). SNV promotes and teaches the principles of nonviolence embodied by Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and is endorsed by UNESCO on behalf of its Culture of Peace and Nonviolence Appeal by Nobel Peace laureates. Other notable supporters include Dr. C.T. Vivian, Dr. A.T. Ariyaratne of Sri Lanka, His Holiness the Dalai Lama of Tibet, Coretta Scott King, and Dr. Robert Muller.

As cofounder and president of the Association for Global New Thought, Dr. Beckwith stands, along with other co-creative leaders, members, and friends, at the threshold of an evolutionary leap that dares to call an end to human suffering. As its voice, Dr. Beckwith guides activities such as AGNT's annual Awakened World Conference, bringing together scientists, sociologists, spiritual leaders, economists, and international forecasters—individuals with proven track records in guiding humanity to its highest potential.

Dr. Beckwith teaches meditation, scientific prayer, and speaks at conferences and seminars. He is the originator of the Life Visioning Process, a time-tested technique offering its practitioners a method for putting a stop to being a passive tourist in one's life. He is author of Inspirations of the Heart (currently nominated as a finalist for the Nautilus Book Award), Forty Day Mind Fast Soul Feast, A Manifesto of Peace, and Living from the Overflow.

The key teachers Rev. Michael Beckwith with Jack Canfield and Bob Proctor have created The SGR Program. A program designed to teach you how to effectively put the Law of Attraction to work in your life. Click here to learn more.

Why Don't I Make Enough Money?

This is probably the question most of us ask ourselves. Why don’t I make enough money? How come some people are making millions of dollars, while others are in debt?

I found out the answer for this through listening to Bob Proctor in the Science of Getting Rich (SGR) program and I will share the answer with you now.

Here’s Bob Proctor in his own words:

“How come some people are making millions of dollars, while others are scrambling just to get by? ….The answer is they are operating through different income strategy.

The very worse income strategy is used by vast majority of the people. 96% of our population are following an income strategy that WILL NOT permit them to become wealthy or if they do, it’s at the EXPENCE OF LIFE ! This income strategy is what I referring to as M1…

M1 is used by 96 out of every 100 people. And yet, they are only earing 1% of the money that is being earned. It’s a little ridiculous if you look at it. This is where people are trading their time for money. This strategy has an inherent problem, it’s call saturation. We run out of time. Everyone get exactly the same amount of time. So it’s not how much time we have, it’s what we do with the time because everyone has the same amount. IF you are trading your time for money, it really doesn’t matter how much you are earning an hour, you’re going to run out of time and therefore you have a limit of how much money you can earn. And yet, that’s the strategy that we learned in school and generally we see our friends and relatives are following so we just follow and use the same strategy.

M2 is a better strategy and it’s only use by 3% of the population , M2 is when you invest money to make money. Well, there is usually problem with this strategy because many of the people who are investing don’t know what they are doing , and frequently make a poor investment and they lose their money. M2 is a good strategy if it works properly. If you don’;t know how to make money you should get advice from someone who has demonstrated by result so they know what they are talking about.

M3 is a stategy I stumble on many many years ago, and it’s a strategy that enables you to take the lid of your income.
M3 is where you multiply your time through the effort of others by setting up multiple sources of income.

It’s a strategy that is historically used by all wealthy people. IT’s used by 1% of the population but they make 96 % of all the money that is being earned. Think about that for a moment . As ridiculously as it sound, it’s the fact.

You can move into the M3 category if you follow the strategy that we have laid down in this program and you decide to share this secret science of getting rich with other people , you’re automatically moving to the M3 category.

Wallace Wattles went on to point out, that if you give someone more in use value than you take from them in cash value, then you are adding to the life of the world with every transaction! When you share the SGR program with other people, I can guarantee you that you are adding to the life of others with every business transaction! You are moving yourself into the M3 category and you are going to begin to multiply your income.

There is no reason why you can’t turn your annual income into monthly income.

Click here to read more about the SGR program.

Attitude of Gratitude

Michael Beckwith says "You cannot receive anything new in your life if you are not already grateful for the things you have".

After reading about The Secret , I made Rhonda Bryne’s process my life. I begin my day with thoughts and feelings of gratitude. Every morning, I do not get out of bed until i felt the feeling of gratitude for this brand new day and all I am grateful for in my life. Then as I get out of bed, I say “thank” when one foot touches the floor and “you” as my second foot touches the floor. With each step I take on my way to the bathroom , I say “thank you” . I continue to feel “thank you” as I am brushing my teeth and doing the things I do in the morning. I start to run through all the things that make me grateful and I’m not just thinking about them, I’m feeling the feelings of gratitude!

I found a post by Steve Pavlina today , on gratitude. She talks about different levels of gratitude which one will “activate” the Law of Attraction more effectively. Here is the post:

Gratitude equals wealth. Wealth equals gratitude. You’ve probably heard one of those expressions before… or at least something similar. Certainly the connection seems true on an internal, emotional level. It’s hard to imagine feeling wealthy without also being grateful. And if you’re truly grateful, you probably feel wealthy as well, regardless of your actual circumstances.

Because of this apparent connection between wealth and gratitude, many so-called wealth experts suggest that if you want to increase your wealth, you should focus on being more grateful. This sounds pretty good on the surface and meshes well with the Law of Attraction. The idea is that by feeling more grateful, you’ll feel more wealthy and thereby attract more abundance into your life.

Having tested this for myself extensively, I found there was an effective way to practice gratitude and an ineffective way. Unfortunately, the ineffective way is much more obvious, and I was stuck with that form of gratitude for many years. But eventually I progressed towards a deeper understanding of gratitude and found a more effective way to practice it, one that yielded much greater external abundance as well.

First, I’ll address the ineffective form of gratitude. Let’s call it Level 1 Gratitude. This is gratitude for your possessions and your immediate circumstances. It’s the kind of gratitude we learn as children: Thank you for the gift, for the candy, for the trip to park, etc. When you practice this as an adult, it spawns thoughts of gratitude for things like:

• a roof over your head
• your material possessions
• a car that runs
• your health
• your relationships
• your family
• your job
• your skills
• the holidays

Note that Level 1 Gratitude goes beyond material possessions. It’s the default form of gratitude you’re likely to come up with when you attempt to make a list of things to be grateful for.

I’m not suggesting there’s anything bad or wrong with this form of gratitude. It’s certainly better than having thoughts of scarcity. However, in terms of activating the Law of Attraction, its effectiveness is relatively weak.

Often when people attempt to use Level 1 Gratitude, it’s because they’re actually feeling complacent or negative about their circumstances, but they’re trying to look on the bright side and build some positive momentum. If you’ve ever expressed gratitude by starting with the words “at least,” you know what I mean. At least I have my health. At least I have a roof over my head. At least I have a vacation coming up.

The underlying message is: What I have is OK, and I can temporarily feel grateful about it if I push myself to do so, but genuine gratitude isn’t my default feeling because ultimately my circumstances just aren’t that exciting. More often than not, they leave me feeling empty or complacent rather than grateful.

When I choose to do so, I can notice my life circumstances and feel grateful for them. I can feel grateful for my marriage, my kids, my house, my career, my friendships and so on. The essence of the experience is no different than when I found myself in far less abundant circumstances.

Even when your overall circumstances seem negative, you can still temporarily pop into a state of Level 1 Gratitude just by changing your focus. For some people this can be the catalyst for a major attitude change, but in most situations it only provides a temporary reprieve with no major lasting benefit.

The reason Level 1 Gratitude usually fails to trigger the Law of Attraction is that Level 1 is too weak. It’s like drinking synthehol – it has no bite. You can enjoy this state of gratitude temporarily, but overall you’ll remain stuck in your old patterns. Level 1 Gratitude is fragile since all it takes to knock you out of state is a change in circumstances or a change in your focus. Even getting the mail can kill it.

Let’s proceed to Level 2 Gratitude. I think of this as “holistic gratitude” because it’s independent of situations and circumstances. This is a feeling of gratitude for life itself, for existence, for anything and everything you experience. But rather than being a temporary emotion that requires constant focus, Level 2 Gratitude is more of an underlying attitude. With practice it becomes part of your identity.

Level 2 Gratitude encompasses everything in Level 1, but Level 2 goes beyond that to include being grateful for:

• your life
• the universe
• time and space
• your problems, challenges, and hardships
• your foibles and mistakes
• your consciousness
• your ego
• people who treat you unkindly or unfairly
• your thoughts and emotions
• your freedom of choice
• ideas and concepts

Level 2 Gratitude says, “How wonderful it is to exist!” Circumstances are irrelevant because this form of gratitude is a choice that needs no justification. It is a sense of utter fascination with the very notion of existence.

You become grateful for the adventure that is life, including all of its twists and turns. This form of gratitude is synonymous with unconditional love because there is no attachment to circumstances or outcomes. Consequently, there is no fear of loss or change.

Level 2 Gratitude is like having a constant echo in the back of your consciousness saying, “Wow!” Everything else is experienced on top of that Wow. Gratitude becomes the canvas upon which your life is painted.

Perhaps the closest analogy I can offer is to imagine playing a video game. The game is totally state-of-the-art. You’re amazed by the graphics, the music, the gameplay, the characters, etc. It doesn’t matter so much if you win or lose because the experience itself is what draws you in. You’re so fascinated by the nature of the experience that the details are secondary.

If you can remain in that state of wonder, you’re likely to perform well at the game and enjoy the experience. Eventually you’ll get good at it. Your glorious accumulations may include a high-level avatar, tons of gold, and alliances with other characters. But that stuff is only the result of your enjoyment, not the cause of it. The game can still be fun even when you’re just starting out and have no meaningful possessions. In some games you can even go deep into debt, and yet the experience is still fun.

For more on the whole “life is a game” concept, be sure to read Life - The Ultimate Game. Many people find this analogy helpful for getting past fear and loosening their death-grip attachment to circumstances. Letting go of this conditional attachment is the key to experiencing Level 2 Gratitude.

When you feel grateful for existence itself, you move from doing grateful to being grateful. At this level you finally activate the Law of Attraction because you’re broadcasting gratitude all the time. It becomes part of your identity. Ultimately you attract circumstances that resonate with who you are. When your feelings of gratitude are conditional upon temporary circumstances like your stuff, your job, and your relationships, your base identity doesn’t change. But when you root your gratitude in something permanent, it becomes a permanent part of you. Instead of saying, “I am grateful for…” you just say, “I am grateful.”

I must have spent at least 10 years practicing Level 1 Gratitude (mostly in vain) before I began shifting towards Level 2. It was a very gradual process as my feelings of gratitude became more unconditional. It started with me attempting to feel grateful for things I wouldn’t normally feel grateful for, like my breathing, the bushes on the street, music, my biggest failures, etc. This helped me see that no matter how negative, meaningless, or routine something seemed, it was still worthy of gratitude. Gratitude is a lens for uncovering beauty.

So if I can suggest a how-to process, I’d recommend practicing gratitude where you’d least expect it to work. Select an unlikely target X, and then hold the thought, “I am grateful for X.” Eventually you’ll shift towards a more unconditional feeling of gratitude, and you’ll be able to drop that “for X.”

In practical terms I’ve found that as my gratitude has become more unconditional, my life circumstances improve to keep pace. These changes are very noticeable, like increases in my income or seeing my relationship with my kids improve. In keeping with the Law of Attraction, this is to be expected because if I’m grateful for everything in my life in advance, I should attract the circumstances that are congruent with those thoughts and feelings.

Level 1 Gratitude has its place, but if you want the universe to back up your feelings of gratitude with some actual results, eventually you need to progress to Level 2. When you’re living the life of your dreams, this is how you’re going to feel anyway, so why wait? Challenge yourself to create these feelings now, even in the most unlikely circumstances, and notice how you begin attracting the relationships, opportunities, and resources that resonate with those feelings.

What's The Secret?

The Secret is a film related to concept of the Law of Attraction, created by an Australina producer call Rhonda Bryne. Therefore, everything that’s coming to your life are attracted to you by your thoughts, what you are thinking .

Law of Attraction is not a new theory, it is a law of nature which began at the beginning of time, it is as impartial as the law of gravity .Rhonda Bryne , the creator of The Secret came to know about this law, she began tracing it back through history and discover that all the people who knew and understand the law of attraction were the greatest people in history : Plato, Shakespeare, Newton, Einstein, Lincoln , Beethoven, Hugo , Edison , Emerson etc.

Bob Doyle in The Secret says that : The law of attraction doesn’t care whether you perceive something to be good or bad or whether you don’t want it or you want it. It’s responding to your thoughts. So if you’re looking at a mountain of debt, feeling terrile about it, it’s the signal you’re putting out into the Universe “ I feel really bad because of all this debt I’ve got.” You’re just affirming to yourself. That’s what you are going to get more.

Understanding this law leads us to the ability to create for ourselves the kind of life and outcomes we desire. But is that just it? I often get remarks from people "so that's it? I just think about it and POOF! I get what I want? ". Of course not. If that were the case people would get what they want all the time. Those that have understood the law of attraction, knows that thought is just the beginning.

The 3 Steps The Secret shares with us that the Law of attraction has a 3 step process for creation. The first step: ASK what you want - You need to have a very clear image in your mind of exactly what it is you want. This is the thought part. The second step: BELIEVE you will get it - Believe that it is already yours. Have faith knowing that it is yours. This is where the Universe starts to comply with your thoughts i.e. where the similar circumstances gets attracted to the thoughts you have begun to put out. The third step: RECEIVE it - Feel the feelings of having it. Hold it within you and enjoy that feeling. This is also where you need to be aware of what is being attracted to you and take necessary action.

The Science of Getting Rich

The Science of Getting Rich is a success classic book written by Wallace D. Wattles in 1910. It's considered a philosophy of Mental Science or Mind Science which may have preceded the New Thought movement.

The Science of Getting Rich is a down-to-earth, clear-cut and practical guide. A mental and spiritual approach on how to become rich. When you follow the thoughts presented in this book, you too will become rich, without the feelings of guilt. As a matter of fact, the author writes that the poverty-stricken (and even the middle class) should be the ones to feel guilty by not living up to their true potential as Thinking Beings.

Wattles says his book is "Intended for the men and women whose most pressing need is for money; who wish to get rich first, and philosophize afterward. It is pragmatic, not philosophical; a practical manual, not a lot of theory. It is for those who have, so far, found neither the time, nor the means, or the opportunity to go deeply into the study of metaphysics, but who want prosperous results and who are willing to take the conclusions of science as a basis for action.

What is the Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction is a universal law that states that similar vibrations are attracted to one another. To picture it, it is a lot like how magnets are attracted to one another.

What The Secret shares with us is that thoughts have a certain vibration. And that these thoughts will attract similar vibrations i.e. circumstances, events into our lives. A very oversimplified way to put it, is that we attract events and circumstances into our lives by virtue of what we think about. There are of course more to it than that and The Secret does a very good job of introducing us to this idea.

Is it an original idea from the creators of the movie? No it isn't. This concept has been around for a very long time and has been described in various literature throughout the ages. The Secret has simply made this information more accessible to people by sharing the Law of Attraction in an easy to understand and very entertaining manner.

Making your Dreams Come True!

If a Genie are to allow you your wishes… what will it be?

Remember that your wish is your own command!

Ask for what you want!
What do you really want?
Explain how your life to be?
Answer to what you are asking
You don’t have to know how … the universe will answer you
Receive the wish
Align yourself to what you want … have the feeling of what you really want
Be one with it …

Remember that there are always ways to achieve our dreams…
Can we sit down and ask as to what we really want in a positive term? reality

There are many times when we say that our beliefs are our reality. This is definitely true… however, are there any other things that may play an influential role to our success? What we believe in will be become a reality as we respond to our own personal map of reality! If we belief that the world is meant to be good, then everything will be good!

A thought for you to ponder upon:
Miracles are not luck … it is made!!!

Do you know that we are our own Leornardo and we are to create our own lives! Sometimes, we always think of the things that we don’t want, we realize that we are getting more and more of it! …

This is because that we are activating a thought and the law of attraction will start lining those things that we don’t want. Our thoughts has a frequency and what we think with passion will create the magnet!

A food for thought:
If we are thinking on how bad things are… they will become even worse!

Our life is based on our thoughts! How now do we now master it? …

If you focus with passion, it will come to you passionately!

Focusing in Your Success!

Attracting what we want! Remember that an affirmative thought is 100s much stronger than a negative thoughts … it sounds really difficult … and we don’t have to really watch our thoughts … we cannot do this as it will make us mad… as thoughts comes from many different direction and angle.

Our thoughts are controlled by our feelings. Thoughts create your feelings … the better your feelings … the better your thoughts … its how we are to shape our feelings that shapes our thoughts

Remember:
Whatever it is that you are feeling;
Is a perfect reflection;
Of what is in the process
Of Becoming!

We are getting what we are feeling and not really what we are thinking …
We don’t have clue at times what create our bad hair days … as we feel that we are feeling bad … the universe would correspond to create more of what you feel…

What you think
And what you feel
And what manifests
Is always a match!

The Inspiration of This Blog

Let me share with you as to what inspired me to start this blog. You know, there are a lot of us out there who would always want more in our life -- we want more money, we want better relationships, and we want bigger cars, bigger houses and more of everything!

There is never an end to what we would want and this is totally acceptable … It is your right to have more and to live life to the full potential. The saying goes , never settle for anything else but the best .But what is best? How can we achieve everything what we want? Once I was shared a little poem and it had a long lasting impact on me …

It goes on to talk about when you were a young, you were waiting for the time to be an adult and you want to make your own money and to buy all the things that you want .
As an adult now, do you really enjoy it as much as you wanted it? Look at your life right now, what is the primary thing that you do? Is it work? How much time do you spend at work? How many days are you working a week? Why do you work? Is it all about paying the bills and getting more in your life? You are constantly trying to earn more money and by the time you’ve earned enough, then what happens? How many years do you want to work in such a manner? And have you not realized that due to the time you had spent trying earn the amount of money, you had loss your health? And by the time you have the money, you will need that money to restore your health!

Is this really what you want? Is this the life that you want? As you are living in the spiral of work, have you lost focus of what you want? What were your dreams when you are younger? Have you achieved all of them? Or are the dreams now a dream as you dare not even embark or mention it as it seems so far fetch and not realistic?

Where are you now in terms of your life? Are you having a balance life?
Look at the wheel of life below, I will urge you to draw one that is similar. Start from the centre of the wheel, and mark as where are you at in terms of your life according to the category. The mark that you place is compared to yourself and no one else. Are you happy with what you have right now?

If this is the tyre of your car, how do you thing that this would run? If you are not having a balance life now, how do you want to even think of achieving your dreams? Is that the reason why dreams are called dreams?

We should live our lives to the fullest… you should sing as you wish, and dance as if no one is watching you … and live everyday as if it was your last day ! If today is your last day, are you happy with what you have achieved so far? You believe that you can achieve even more in your life? But what is stopping you? Do you really want more?

If you are, I congratulate you! But what are you going to do right now to make a different in you life so that you can achieve everything you want in life?If you are ready to embark on a journey to create the Destiny that you want to achieve then you want the SGR program as it will revolutionize your life!

Wishing you all the best in creating the life that you want !
